My horse's lameness had been wrongly diagnosed as white line disease, he had endured a whole summer of having his hooves soaked in Epsom salts, then at Christmas an inexperienced farrier literally hacked his hooves off and instructed me to find a boot for the one foot as there was nothing more she could do. Obviously a poor choice for the horse and while on the search for a proper boot I found Elisa who came to our farm a day or two before Christmas. She correctly addressed the problem, which at that moment seemed hopeless, proceeded patiently and skilfully on a treatment plan to trim, hot shoe and cast his hooves. It was a slow process but it worked and today the lameness has disappeared and his hooves are better than ever. I cannot say enough about Elisa and her expertise and kindness when dealing with horses.
